Terms of use
Effective 2026-10-25
By using this website or calling our line, you agree to these terms. They're written to be read, so they're short.
What we are
Local Garage Door Line is a referral service operated by 1113 Technologies Inc., Calgary, Alberta. We are not a contractor. We don't perform, supervise or guarantee any work, and we don't set prices.
The company we refer you to
- Companies we refer you to are independent businesses, not our employees or agents.
- Any quote, contract, warranty or payment is between you and that company. You decide whether to hire them.
- Before you hire, check the quote in writing, including whether tax, parts and labour are included, and ask about insurance and any permits the job needs.
- We can't guarantee that a company will be available, call back by a certain time, or charge a certain price.
Our referral standards
We refer only to companies that meet the standards on our About page when we check them, using public information such as Google ratings and reviews. Meeting them is not a guarantee of the quality of any particular job.
Information on this site
City pages give general information from the sources named on each page. Prices are ranges from published sources, not quotes. Information can go out of date. It isn't legal, insurance, safety or engineering advice: confirm permits with your city and coverage with your insurer.
Our phone line
The line is answered by an automated assistant and calls are recorded, as described in our privacy policy. It is not an emergency service. If someone is hurt or in danger, call 911.
Payment
We don't charge you for referrals. Local companies may pay us to receive referrals. That doesn't change our standards.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, 1113 Technologies Inc. is not responsible for work done or not done by any company we refer you to, or for decisions made based on information on this site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be limited.
The site
This website and its content belong to 1113 Technologies Inc. Please don't copy it in bulk or use it in a way that harms the site or other people.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and of Canada, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
